Accomplishments

We have put our hands on hundreds of retrievers in 25 years.  We have had golden retrievers, Chesapeakes, and black, yellow, and chocolate labs. All retrievers are trained with the main goal to become a “waterfowl hunting companion.” Most were campaigned in HRC Hunt Tests and achieved the Hunting Retriever title.  Many achieved the Champion title and (40) earned the top honor of International Grand Hunting Retriever Champion.

GR HR CH Sachmo is the youngest male dog to pass the Grand at 16 months of age.  GR HR CH Sam is the youngest Grand Champion at 27 months of age.  GR HR CH Bean earned 10 Grand passes. Samson 1st Golden Grand Champion in HRC history. We have over 117Grand passes. We owned, trained, and handled GR HR CH Roux and GR HR CH Bean, two of the top three producing females in HRC.  We whelped, trained, and handled GR HR CH Maggie, the third top producing female.

We are fortunate to have clients who desire that their retrievers achieve as much as possible and that they prefer us as trainers/handlers. Many have had more than one retriever with us.

Seminar graduates, 52, have gone on to become Pro Trainers, earned Grand titles on their dogs, and have become Grand judges.

We participated in the first Great Outdoor Games in Lake Placid.  GR HR CH Skeet and I placed 1^ST   and Becky and GR HR CH Kate placed 4^TH.

Barry placed 2^nd 3^rd 4^th 5^th in the first Cajun Nationals.

GR HR CH Sarah and I participated in Purina’s 1999-2000 “Chosen by Champions” campaign.
